Supported Employment is a service for people with disabilities, including mental health and other barriers to work.

It's a service to help employers too.

We provide assistance in obtaining and maintaining employment.

Supported Employment

Services we provide:

  • We’ll help you find a job that will suit you, based on your interests, strengths, experiences and your abilities.

  • Your Job Search can start immediately.

  • We'll work closely with other support services and your employer, to help establish a fully supportive back to work programme.

  • We'll assist with any benefit problems a return to work might cause.

  • Once a job is found, our supported employment consultants provide on-going support to you and your employer.

  • We’ll work with your employer to ensure any difficulties are quickly worked through.

Why Choose us?

We're an organisation that's passionate about supporting people into employment.

We support employers who employ, or are looking to employ people within our criteria.

We acknowledge that every client is on a different life journey. We acknowledge and celebrate these differences while we work with you towards a great outcome.

Other Ways We Can Help:

  • Career counselling and career planning

  • CV’s and cover letters

  • Job interview practice

  • Job shadowing

  • Work experience placements

  • Mentoring

  • Employment agreement advice

  • Access to MSD’s Mainstream programme

We also support those who are in work and are currently experiencing mental health concerns and we support employers who employ our clients.

This is your choice - However we encourage an open and honest relationship with your employer.

It may depend on the amount of involvement we have in obtaining your job, as to how we work together to shape your employment support.
